Former AK Party MP Şamil Tayyar, evaluating the crisis in the CHP following the court decision, claimed that on the night of May 23, Kılıçdaroğlu and Özel were very close to an agreement, but the process escalated into tension due to Ekrem İmamoğlu's intervention. Tayyar, alleging that the tacit agreement was broken by İmamoğlu's "resist" directive, argued that the CHP story is over for Özel and İmamoğlu's team, and that a new party will remain the only option after the purges and expulsions.

Former AK Party Deputy Şamil Tayyar made striking claims about the 'absolute nullity' decision in the CHP and the subsequent discharge crisis. Tayyar, who alleged that Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and Özgür Özel were very close to an agreement on the night of May 23, claimed that the process completely broke down due to Ekrem İmamoğlu's intervention, and that the 'new party' option became the only path for the opposition wing.

"İMAMOĞLU DISRUPTED THE AGREEMENT, SENT A RESIST MESSAGE"

Analyzing the latest situation within the CHP on his social media account, Şamil Tayyar summarized the leadership struggle behind the crisis with these words:

"Kılıçdaroğlu and Özel were very close to an agreement, which is why the group chairmanship was tolerated. Özel was also preparing to vacate the headquarters last night. İmamoğlu intervened, broke the tacit agreement, and sent a 'resist' message. The resistance, which turned into an occupation, was overcome soon after, but it accelerated the parting of ways."

"A NEW PARTY IS THE ONLY OPTION FOR ÖZEL AND İMAMOĞLU"

Claiming that the CHP chapter has closed for the Özgür Özel and Ekrem İmamoğlu front after this tension, Tayyar made a striking prediction: "The story of İmamoğlu, Özel, and their friends in the CHP is over; a new party is their only option."

Tayyar stated that Kılıçdaroğlu has taken full control, arguing that the chairman is implementing his action plan in a controlled and gradual manner.

"EXPULSION PROCESS WILL BEGIN"

Tayyar, who alleged that Kılıçdaroğlu will fully settle into the headquarters within a day or two, first reshaping the Central Executive Board (MYK) and then sending a letter to the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) to end Özel's group chairmanship, wrote that the process will continue with expulsions:

"Depending on the course of events, the expulsion process will begin for Özel and his friends, as well as İmamoğlu. Kılıçdaroğlu will not go to the congress without changing the delegate and organization structure. So far, the psychological advantage lies with Kılıçdaroğlu. Özel, on the other hand, is surfing the wave of anger from marginal groups. And the game continues."
