In the notification message, it was advised to the organization members attending Gülen's funeral to bring items to conceal their faces. The message stated, "Wear masks, hats, and glasses. There will be TR press. There will be security. Entry to the stadium will be via QR code."

It was observed that FETO members flocking to the stadium in the afternoon covered their faces with hats and masks, and tried to hide their exposed eye areas with glasses. Some organization members in yellow vests also tried to cover their faces with their hands when they saw the press members.
