Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş did not attend the pre-election meeting for İmamoğlu's presidential candidacy. When asked about the reason for his absence, Yavaş stated that he had no special reason and replied, "The other options on the table are always on the agenda; that's all I will say."

The meeting for determining the presidential candidate of the CHP for the next election was held on February 27, Thursday, at the CHP Headquarters with the slogan "Come, Vote, Make History."

YAVAŞ DID NOT ATTEND THE MEETING

Members of the Party Council, Members of Parliament, Metropolitan Mayors, Mayors, and Provincial Chairpersons attended the meeting. Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş did not attend the meeting at the CHP. While İmamoğlu's meeting was ongoing, Yavaş attended the opening of the Center for Political Research (SİYASAM) with the Chairman of the İYİ Party, Müsavat Dervişoğlu.

"DOES IT NEED TO HAVE A SPECIAL REASON?"

Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş was asked why he did not attend the presidential candidacy pre-selection meeting held at the CHP Headquarters with the participation of Istanbul Metropolitan Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu and CHP Chairman Özgür Özel. Yavaş replied, "It's a provocative question, does it need to have a special reason? This meeting had been announced earlier."

Yavaş stated, "I wish the pre-selection well. Other than that, we have nothing to say, we are watching. The other options on the table are always on the agenda; that's all I will say."
