Dan Morehead, the founder of Pantera Capital, predicts that Bitcoin (BTC) will continue its upward trend due to Donald Trump's blockchain-friendly policies. Morehead states that Bitcoin could reach $740,000 by 2028 and that its market capitalization could rise to $15 trillion.

One of the leading investment firms in the cryptocurrency sector, Pantera Capital, has published a striking projection for Bitcoin. The firm, which launched its investment fund in 2013 when Bitcoin was only $65, achieved record returns, and its founder, Dan Morehead, predicts that Bitcoin could reach $740,000 by 2028, progressing at an annual compound growth rate of 88%.

Bitcoin Will Reach Its Peak in 2028

According to Dan Morehead's forecasts, if Bitcoin maintains its current growth trend, it could reach $740,000 within five years. This figure seems reasonable considering the $500 trillion global financial assets.

The positive atmosphere in the investment world has enabled Bitcoin to reach all-time highs recently. The Trump administration's positive approach to blockchain technology strengthens expectations for increased regulatory clarity in the sector.

The Pantera Bitcoin Fund began its investments in 2013 when Bitcoin was at the $65 level. Morehead describes Bitcoin as "the first global currency after gold" and "the first unlimited payment system." Today, with a market value of approximately $2 trillion, Bitcoin has surpassed Meta to become the world's sixth-largest asset.
