H.Y. and P.S.B. offered advertising revenue based on the number of followers and recognition to influencers who have around 1 million followers and share in various categories such as beauty, travel, fashion, and entertainment. It was found that influencers who accepted the offer were paid starting from rates of 250,000 lira per shared content, and the money traffic was conducted through bank and crypto accounts.

10 INFLUENCERS HAD BEEN ARRESTED

It was learned that the suspects who were detained claimed in their statements that they made posts through managers, asserted that they did not know it was a crime, and expressed regret. In coordination with the Cyber Crime Department of the Provincial Police Department, 10 of the 16 suspects detained yesterday in Izmir, Istanbul, Antalya, Adana, and Bursa, including H.Y. and P.S.B., had been arrested.
