Suddenly, a car passed over the man who lay in the middle of the road.

An allegedly intoxicated man lying in the middle of the road in Bayrampaşa was hit by a car. It was learned that the man, who was injured after being struck by the car, was not in life-threatening condition, and the moments were captured by a security camera.

The incident occurred around 03:00 on October 10 in the Yenidoğan neighborhood of Bayrampaşa. According to reports, a man lay down in the middle of the road after consuming alcohol. At that moment, a driver, noticing the man at the last moment, slowed down, while another car coming from behind hit the intoxicated man and ran over him. After hitting the man, the driver got out of his vehicle and saw the man lying on the ground. The driver then notified the police and medical teams.

Medical teams who arrived at the scene upon notification took the injured man to the hospital by ambulance. It was learned that the person, who was treated in the hospital, had fractures in his body but was not in life-threatening condition.

In the footage captured by a security camera of a workplace regarding the incident, it was seen that the intoxicated person could not stand and then lay down on the ground. The moments when another driver slowed down after seeing the intoxicated person, and another driver who did not notice the man lying on the ground hit him and ran over him were also included. The footage also recorded the driver getting out of the vehicle and notifying the police and medical teams. It was learned that the driver of the car that hit the man was released after the incident.
