Swiatek, Collins, Tsitsipas Reach Australian Open Semifinals

Swiatek, Collins face each other in next round, Tsitsipas to take on either Daniil Medvedev or Felix Auger Aliassime.

Iga Swiatek, Danielle Collins and Stefanos Tsitsipas booked their spots in the Australian Open semifinals on Wednesday.
Poland's Swiatek beat Estonian veteran Kaia Kanepi in an intense battle, coming from a set down to snatch a 4-6, 7-6 (7-2), 6-3 victory.
Her opponent in Thursday's semifinal will be the American Collins, who brushed aside France's Alize Cornet in straight sets for a 7-5, 6-1 win.
The other women's singles semifinal will be between top-seeded Ashleigh Barty and American Madison Keys.
Tsitsipas powers through
Fourth-seeded Tsitsipas swept past Italy's Jannik Sinner in straight sets to stay in the hunt for his first Grand Slam win.
The 23-year-old Greek was dominant as he marched to a 6-3, 6-4, 6-2 victory at the Rod Laver Arena.
He will take on the winner of Wednesday's other quarterfinal between US Open champion Daniil Medvedev and Canada's Felix Auger-Aliassime.
Rafael Nadal and Italian Matteo Berrettini have been drawn together in the first semifinal, with the 35-year-old Spanish superstar favorite to reach another final as he chases a record 21st Grand Slam title.​​​​​​​ -
