Syria: Assad Regime Airstrikes Kill 10 Civilians

Ten people, including women and children were killed in Syrian regime airstrikes Monday evening on an Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant controlled city in Aleppo governorate, a Syrian organization said.



Saba Ka'kou from the Ambulance Sans Frontieres, a Syrian non-governmental organization, said that out of the 10 people killed, four were children and three were women. Ka'kou also said that several people were injured in the attacks that targeted a marketplace in al-Bab city.



The Syrian regime had before attacked al-Bab city Saturday that left nine people dead and destroyed two ambulances of Ambulance Sans Frontieres.



Also, intense clashes were ongoing between opposition forces and the Syrian regime in Handarat area.



Since 2011, the Syrian civil war has resulted in the deaths of 350,000 people and displaced almost half of the country's population.
