Teams are responding to a factory fire in Istanbul.

A fire broke out at the factory located on 2nd Avenue of the Mermerciler Industrial Site in the district for an undetermined reason during the night hours.

Upon notification, in addition to the Beylikdüzü fire department personnel, a large number of fire crews from many districts in both the Anatolian and European sides of the city, especially from surrounding districts, as well as health and police teams were dispatched to the scene.

The fire crews that reached the factory began working to extinguish the fire. During the firefighting efforts at the factory, where explosions occurred from time to time, police teams also took security measures in the surrounding area. The intervention of the fire crews at the factory, where ambulances were also kept on standby, is ongoing.
