'Tech, Digitalization Revolutionize Business World'

Technology and digitalization makes revolutionary changes in the business world, the head of the top Turkish business association said on Monday.

"While we are living in today, we should be ready for tomorrow. In an era, when even money is digitalized, companies, sectors and countries, which will focus on change, will survive," Simone Kaslowski, the president of the Turkish Industry and Business Association (TUSIAD), said in a congress in Istanbul.

New technologies raise companies' speed, size, quality, and operational productivity, Kaslowski underlined.

"15-20 years ago, artificial intelligence and robots were the only phenomena in science fiction films, but today the world is moving towards an unimaginable place," he said.

Kaslowski said in the coming period, companies will need proactive supervisors, who know digital technologies and their risks and opportunities well.

While new technologies bring ease and advantages to our life, they also cause information technology risks and cybersecurity problems, he added.
