The budget discussions, which began with the blocking of Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya and his accompanying officials from entering the hall by CHP deputies, are continuing in a tense atmosphere. One of the moments that raised the tension during the meeting was when Minister Yerlikaya spoke while pointing his finger at the CHP benches.

The budget marathon has begun in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM). Before coming to the General Assembly, the ministry budgets are being discussed in the TBMM Planning and Budget Commission with the presentation of the relevant ministers. In this context, it was time to discuss the Ministry of Interior's budget for the year 2025. The meeting started with a scuffle in the morning hours.

THEY SET UP A BARRICADE AT THE DOOR

CHP (Republican People's Party) deputies prevented Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya from entering the Commission meeting room. CHP members, reacting to the appointment of a trustee to the Esenyurt Municipality, set up a virtual barricade at the door of the hall, saying, 'You did not let us into the Esenyurt Municipality.'

TENSION CONTINUED IN THE HALL

Yerlikaya and his companions, who broke through the CHP barrier with the help of security, entered the hall. However, the tension did not decrease, and the conflict that started at the entrance continued in the hall. During the tension, Minister Yerlikaya's finger-wagging speech drew a strong reaction from the CHP benches. The meeting continues under this tense atmosphere.
