A striking development occurred ahead of the critical meeting in Washington between U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. It was reported that Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, during a cabinet meeting, said regarding Trump's demand to withdraw from occupied areas in Gaza, Syria, and Lebanon: "I will strongly oppose this and say no to them." A striking claim has emerged ahead of the critical meeting between US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Washington. According to Israeli media, Netanyahu is preparing to oppose Trump's demand for the withdrawal of the Israeli army from occupied areas in the Gaza Strip, Syria, and southern Lebanon.
"I WILL SAY NO" MESSAGE IN THE CABINET
According to a report by Israel's Channel 13, Netanyahu evaluated the Washington administration's demand for withdrawal from occupied territories during a weekly cabinet meeting held before his departure to the US.
The report alleged that Netanyahu told cabinet members, "I will strongly oppose this and say no to them."
According to the claim, the Tel Aviv administration argues that the Israeli army should maintain its control over the "Yellow Line" in Gaza until Hamas is completely disarmed and removed from Gaza.
APPROVAL GRANTED FOR INTERNATIONAL FORCE
The report stated that Israel has approved the entry of the International Stabilization Force (ISF) into the Gaza Strip, from which Trump demanded withdrawal.
Sources indicated that the ISF currently includes around 200 representatives from countries friendly to Israel, such as Uganda and Morocco, and that this force will operate in areas not occupied by the Israeli army and in full coordination with the military.
It was also reported that the Israeli cabinet approved granting immunity to ISF personnel under the "Immunities for International Organizations" law.
EYES ON TRUMP-NETANYAHU MEETING
The Israeli Prime Minister's Office also announced that Netanyahu would make an official visit to Washington on Monday at the invitation of US President Donald Trump.
Under the program, Netanyahu is scheduled to meet with Trump at the White House on Tuesday and also attend the funeral ceremony for the late Senator Lindsey Graham.
This visit drew attention as it came after multiple delays or rejections of Netanyahu's requests to meet with Trump at the White House.
WITHDRAWAL PRESSURE FROM WASHINGTON
Despite the ceasefire that took effect in Gaza on October 10, 2025, Israeli attacks, blockades, and occupation continue. It is reported that Israel controls approximately 70 percent of Gaza, while Palestinians are confined to an area not exceeding 30 percent of the region.
Recent reports in international media also highlight pressure from the Washington administration on Israel to withdraw from occupied territories in Gaza, Syria, and Lebanon.
