(44) was driving a light commercial vehicle with license plate 45 ALS 068, which collided from behind with a truck with license plate 47 PU 521, driven by Yusuf T., who was stopped by the roadside near the Kova village on the Refahiye-Erzincan highway. Upon notification from the surrounding people, health, fire, and police teams were dispatched to the area.

2 INJURED PERSONS ARE STILL IN CRITICAL CONDITION

Health teams determined that the driver Ramazan C. (44) and Semiha C. (14) died at the scene, while the injured A.E.C. (11), Melike C. (39), and H.E.C. were taken to Refahiye State Hospital by ambulance for treatment.

Despite the intervention at the hospital, one of the injured, Melike C., could not be saved.

It was learned that the two injured persons under treatment are also in critical condition.
