Terrible accident in Mersin: 4 people died.

The incident occurred in the Akdere area of Silifke district on the Mersin-Antalya D-400 highway. According to the information received, a car with the license plate 33 ATU 534, which had stopped due to a flat tire, was hit by a vehicle with the license plate 54 ZZ 409, driven by Muhammet Furkan D., as people got out of a truck with the license plate 06 BHP 787 that had stopped to help. Upon notification, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene.

5 PEOPLE INJURED

Teams that arrived at the scene determined that one of the pedestrians hit by the car, Orhan Biçer, had lost his life. 5 injured individuals were taken to the district state hospital by ambulances. It was reported that despite all interventions at the hospital, the injuries of Serdal Görür, Rüştü Görür, and Erdal Koçak were fatal.

The condition of the other 2 injured individuals from the accident is reported to be good.
