The workplace accident in Aksaray turned into terrifying moments. Abdullah Türk, working at a construction site, lost his balance while working on the rooftop and fell from a height of several meters onto the iron railings of the adjacent building's garden wall.
The incident occurred around 13:00 on 1316 Street in the Coğlaki District. Abdullah Türk, a 25-year-old worker on the roof of a 4-story apartment building under construction, lost his balance and plunged downward. The young worker fell onto the iron railings on the garden wall of the neighboring building.
TAKEN TO HOSPITAL WITH IRON ROD IMPALED IN HIS BACK
The worker, with an iron rod impaled in his back, was covered in blood, and his coworkers who noticed the situation alerted medical and fire brigade teams. Teams arriving at the scene mobilized for intervention.
Meanwhile, Doctor Rıfkı Karabatak from a private clinic near the construction site provided first aid to the injured worker. Fire brigade teams cut the iron rod impaled in Türk's back, making it suitable for medical intervention.
Severely injured Abdullah Türk was taken to Aksaray Training and Research Hospital with the iron rod still in his back. It was learned that the worker, who is under treatment, remains in critical condition.
Police teams have launched an investigation into the incident.
