In a horrific accident that occurred last Wednesday in Toronto, Canada, four young people lost their lives in a fire after the electronic doors of a Tesla vehicle failed to open. 25-year-old Neelraj Gohil, his 29-year-old sister Ketaba Gohil, and their friends Jay Sisodiya and Digvijay Patel tragically perished when the Tesla crashed into barriers at high speed. A woman in her twenties who was also in the vehicle was saved at the last moment when a Canada Post employee, Rick Harper, broke the window with a metal rod. The rescued woman stated that they could not open the car doors from the inside and experienced great panic. Harper, who carried out the rescue operation, said, "I couldn't see if there were other passengers in the vehicle due to the density of the smoke." It has been revealed that the electronic door system in Tesla vehicles does not function in the event of a power failure during an accident. Experts emphasized that although there is a manual opening system in the vehicles, this feature is not well known and is difficult to use in an emergency. It has been learned that the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is conducting nine separate investigations related to the same Tesla model. The police are investigating the exact cause of the accident.
