TFF President Ibrahim Hacıosmanoğlu visited clubs in the Aegean region before the national team's match against Iceland in Group 4 of the UEFA Nations League at Gürsel Aksel Stadium in Izmir. HE JUMPED OVER THE DITCHHacıosmanoğlu, who visited Manisa Football Club as his first stop, was able to enter the club's Fikri Bayrıl Facilities by jumping over a ditch due to ongoing infrastructure excavation works in the area. As a result of the ongoing dispute between Manisa Metropolitan Municipality and the black and white club, the facilities, which were used symbolically with a nominal rent, were requested to be evacuated, and the water meters of the Fikri Bayrıl Facilities were also removed due to allegations of unauthorized use and the surrounding area was excavated with construction machinery. Hacıosmanoğlu, together with TFF Board Member and former president of Manisa Football Club Mevlüt Aktan, visited the club's facilities. Hacıosmanoğlu met with Club President Yasemin Buket Aktan and the board of directors, and entered the facility by passing through the excavation site. President Hacıosmanoğlu was presented with flowers by Yasemin Buket Aktan during the visit. STRONG REACTION: VERY UGLY IMAGESIn a brief statement to the press, Hacıosmanoğlu expressed his reaction to the situation, saying, "We came by jumping over obstacles. I couldn't make sense of it. I will also talk to the authorities. This is not suitable for Turkey and we want them to contribute to the peace and brotherhood climate that we want to achieve through football. The images are very ugly. We will also have discussions with the authorities regarding this matter." After Mevlüt Aktan joined the new management of the Turkish Football Federation, Yasemin Buket Aktan, who took over the presidency of Manisa Football Club, hosted Hacıosmanoğlu during this visit.
