The Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Murat Kurum, and politicians are continuing their efforts to heal the wounds of Hatay after the earthquake.
Last week, Murat Kurum held a coordination meeting in Hatay, which was severely damaged by the earthquakes on February 6. To promote the development of the earthquake-affected area, Kurum met with mayors from various political parties.
THANK YOU FROM CHP DEPUTY TO MINISTER KURUM
Speaking at the meeting, CHP Hatay Deputy Servet Mullaoğlu thanked Minister Kurum for the efforts in the earthquake zone. In his speech, Mullaoğlu stated, "They were provoking the reserve area issue, but the truth has been revealed, and I thank you for your stance."
MINISTER KURUM SIGNALS THE END OF 2025
During the meeting, Minister Kurum expressed that they have been striving to continue this struggle together since the earthquake occurred. Minister Kurum said: "Our goal is to make Hatay, with its village housing, districts, towns, and landscape arrangements, better than before as soon as possible; we are fighting for this. Together, we are constructing new places where the children and offspring of Hatay can live in peace and security. God willing, as we promised, by the end of 2025, we will carry out our work with the understanding that there will not be a single earthquake victim brother who has not entered their home in Hatay and 11 other provinces."
