In the Avcılar district of Istanbul, a person assaulted a 14-year-old boy who was allegedly making remarks about his sister. An investigation has been launched regarding the incident, in which four people were detained.

A 14-year-old boy, who is alleged to have made remarks to his sister in Avcılar, was assaulted. The efforts of the brother of the person he allegedly made remarks to were unsuccessful in convincing him. The police detained 4 individuals in connection with the incident.

The incident occurred in the Gümüşpala neighborhood. One of the children, who were allegedly bothering others and carrying knives, reportedly made remarks to a young girl who was out shopping yesterday evening. After the young girl told her brother about the incident, he became angry and started to confront one of the children. The person who allegedly made the remarks tried to convince the brother but was unsuccessful. While bystanders tried to calm the brother who was assaulting the child, police teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification. The young girl’s brother and the child who allegedly made the remarks, along with a total of 4 individuals, were taken to the District Police Department for their statements. The Child Branch Directorate is continuing its investigation into the incident.
