The 25 percent limit had been lifted! The maximum rate of rent increases has reached 65.07 percent.

The Turkish Statistical Institute has announced the inflation data for the month of June. According to this, inflation in June decreased to 1.64% monthly and 71.60% annually.

25% LIMIT REMOVED

Following the expiration of the 25% rent increase cap in housing on July 1st, the June inflation data also became decisive in determining the ceiling increase rate for rents. From now on, just like in workplaces, there will be a 12-month average inflation limit for rents in housing as well.

CEILING INCREASE RATE IS 65.07%

According to the inflation data for the month of June announced by TURKSTAT today, the 12-month average increase in CPI was realized as 65.07%. Therefore, the ceiling increase rate for renewed housing and workplace rental contracts this month will be 65.07%.
