Teams that learned about the cultivation of hemp in a forested area in Balıkesir detained 70-year-old M.Z. during a raid. The individual was arrested by the court to which he was brought.

A suspect detained in a drug operation carried out by gendarmerie teams in the Savaştepe district of Balıkesir has been arrested.

The district gendarmerie command teams obtained information that M.Z. (70) had planted cannabis in the forested area of the rural Sarıbeyler neighborhood. During the raid on the suspect's address, 700 grams of hashish, 42 cannabis plants, an unlicensed shotgun, and 26 shotgun cartridges were seized.

The detained M.Z. was arrested by the court after the procedures at the gendarmerie.
