Images of the suspect who shot himself and the child next to him after injuring the police officers who came to arrest him following an abuse report in Esenyurt, Istanbul, have emerged from security cameras before the incident. KIDNAPPED TWO CHILDREN AND TOOK THEM IN THE CARThe incident occurred around 11:00 PM on 670th Street in the Yenikent neighborhood of Esenyurt, in a five-story building on the fifth floor. According to the information obtained, the suspect identified as M.Ö., who kidnapped two children in Sultangazi, was driving to Esenyurt when the child named Y.K.O. took the opportunity to escape as the car stopped. The child went to the police station and reported the situation to the police teams. SHOT THE KIDNAPPED CHILD AND HIMSELFFollowing the allegations, the security teams identified the suspect's house and conducted a raid. During the raid, the suspect M.Ö. (22) opened fire on the police. As a result of the gunfire, police officer N.Y., who was on duty in the public order department, was injured in the abdomen. After the police officer was injured, a large number of special operations, riot police, and public order teams were dispatched to the scene. He shot the kidnapped child and himself.
