The personnel in the specially equipped ambulance faced difficult moments on the D-400 highway due to the driver who refused to yield. Despite all warnings, the car driver did not allow the ambulance with its emergency lights on to pass.

The events were recorded by the healthcare workers in the ambulance using a mobile phone. In the footage, a healthcare worker in the ambulance stated that they were on their way to transfer the baby to another hospital in Antalya due to the absence of a neonatal unit at the hospital in Manavgat.

Following the footage, the Antalya Provincial Police Department made a statement regarding the matter. In the statement made by the Provincial Police Department, it was reported that the car driver who did not yield to the ambulance was fined for various traffic violations, and legal action was initiated for the crime of "endangering traffic safety." Authorities emphasized that such behaviors that jeopardize public safety would not be tolerated.
