The shop owner, Bilal Demir, stated in a press release that he was not in his shop when he intervened in the fire that broke out at his neighbor's business. Demir expressed that while the firefighting efforts were ongoing, the three women took water to help those affected by the smoke, saying, "They took the water while I was not there and left the money on the counter. When I saw the money on the counter, I checked the security camera. I was very happy to see the incident. It's hard to see such behavior in this day and age. I thank them."
