The Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Osman Aşkın Bak, announced that scholarship/loan applications for the 2024-2025 academic year have begun. Scholarship/loan applications will continue until 23:59 on Sunday, October 13.

Applications will be received through e-Government. In addition to providing young people with safe and comfortable accommodation, the Ministry of Youth and Sports also supports them financially and has started receiving scholarship/loan applications. Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Osman Aşkın Bak, announced via his social media accounts that applications for scholarships/loans for the 2024-2025 academic year have started. Students who are eligible to enter a higher education program for the first time, current students in intermediate classes of a higher education program, and Turkish citizens studying abroad can apply for scholarships/loans.



THE DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS IS OCTOBER 13



Scholarship/loan applications, which will continue until 23:59 on Sunday, October 13, will be received through e-Government. Students who wish to change their application information can update their information through e-Government until this date.



WHO CAN APPLY?



Students who are eligible to enter a higher education program for the first time, current students in intermediate classes of a higher education program, and Turkish citizens studying abroad can apply for scholarships/loans.



THINGS TO CONSIDER WHEN APPLYING



Since scholarship/loan applications will be based on the education information available on e-Government, students need to check their school/department information on e-Government; students with errors in their information must request corrections from the university's student affairs. The economic, social, and academic status information declared by students during the application will be verified by the Ministry of Youth and Sports through public institutions. As a result of the evaluation, scholarships or student loans will be allocated to students who meet the legal requirements. Applications made by students who provide false information will be considered invalid.



STUDENTS WITH SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES



Students declaring special circumstances in their applications do not need to send documents. Students declaring special circumstances [children of martyrs/disabled veterans (if the martyr is single, the single sibling; if the veteran is single, the veteran themselves), those whose parents (both) have passed away, those with a disability of 40% or more certified by a health board report from a fully-fledged state hospital, those who completed their high school and equivalent education in care homes under the Ministry of Family and Social Services, graduates of Darüşşafaka High School, and national athletes, etc.] will have their information verified by the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Students experiencing issues during the application process can request assistance through ALO GSB (444 0 472), KYK_DESTEK, and GSB_DESTEK, which provide 24/7 service.
