Reminding that they are in constant communication with Yavaş, İmamoğlu said, "It's not a surprise; we always meet and share our troubles. They pile up so much that we share our troubles from time to time." İMAMOĞLU'S MESSAGE OF UNITYAfter his meeting with Yavaş, Ekrem İmamoğlu shared a message of 'unity' on his social media account, stating: "As two mayors and two companions who share the same principles, we have always been in cooperation and solidarity. We are mayors who have ended waste in our cities. We are on the side of togetherness, not polarization. We do not consider the attacks against us as coincidences; we do not evaluate them individually. We see these attacks as an attempt to obstruct the will of the nation that will manifest in the next general elections. We stand united with our party and our people against all attacks. I would like to thank the Historical Cities Union and our Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mr. Mansur Yavaş for hosting us today." YAVAŞ: WE DISCUSSED THE PROBLEMSAfter the meeting, Mansur Yavaş stated in a post on his social media account, "We hosted the President of the Union of Turkish Municipalities, our Istanbul Metropolitan Mayor Mr. Ekrem İmamoğlu, in our municipality. We discussed the problems facing municipalities, especially the perception operations being attempted against CHP municipalities in recent days." WHAT HAD HAPPENED?In a post on his social media account, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu announced that he would attend the hearing of the case against him, which seeks imprisonment and a political ban, on November 22, with a note saying "Tighten the ranks" along with a video. SUPPORT FROM MANSUR YAVAŞ TO KILIÇDAROĞLUYavaş also expressed support for Kılıçdaroğlu. Stating that he would attend the court hearing, Yavaş said, "This case is not just Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu's case; it is our case. We will stand by Mr. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu until justice is served." The opposing posts of Yavaş and İmamoğlu were interpreted as a sign of tension between the two figures.
