A terrible incident occurred during the high-altitude camp attended by the Judo National Team athletes on Mount Palandöken in Erzurum. An avalanche that fell during the athletes' ascent was recorded moment by moment by a mobile phone camera. The footage showed the rapid advance of the avalanche.

5 PEOPLE INJURED

Some athletes from the 15-member Judo National Team were trapped under the snow mass. With the coordinated efforts of AFAD, UMKE, gendarmerie, and fire brigade teams, 5 people were rescued injured from under the snow.

THE CONDITION OF THE NATIONAL ATHLETE IS CRITICAL

It was reported that the health condition of the injured national athlete Emre Yazgan (16) is serious and he is being treated in intensive care. It was also learned that one of the injured is Yazgan's twin brother.
