On Sunday in Sivas, it was determined that the baby corpse found in the field had been dug up from the grave by wild animals.

The teams of the Homicide Bureau of the Sivas Provincial Police Department completed their work regarding the baby corpse found motionless in the rocky area of Kılavuz Neighborhood on November 3, 2024, which was determined to be missing some limbs. The police examined the security cameras in the area where the incident occurred and at the Yukarı Tekke Cemetery for a long time. The investigations revealed that the baby corpse was taken by a wild animal from the old children's cemetery across from the Martyrdom Cemetery on Şehitlik Street and brought to the rocky area of Kılavuz Neighborhood.

POLICE CONTACTED THE BABY'S FATHER

The police reached the baby's father, M.A., and excavated the grave upon the prosecutor's order. The baby corpse could not be found in the grave. It was learned that the family buried their baby, who was stillborn in 2010, in the same grave on October 16, 2024, when they buried another baby who was also stillborn.

SOME LIMBS OF THE DEAD BABY COULD NOT BE RECOVERED

A baby was found motionless in the rocky area of Kılavuz Neighborhood on November 3, 2024, and it was determined during the examination that the baby had passed away. Some parts taken from the corpse of the unidentified male baby were sent to the Ankara Forensic Medicine Institution.
