The best penalty takers in Europe's top 10 leagues since the year 2000 have been announced. Only one Turkish footballer made it into the top 10 of the ranking.

THE ONLY TURK ON THE LIST IS BURAK YILMAZ

In the list prepared by Transfermarkt based on the conversion rates of penalties into goals, only players who have taken 40 or more penalties were included. Burak Yılmaz, a legendary goal scorer of Turkish football and now a former national player who is currently a coach, ranked 10th on the list with an 88.5% conversion rate from the 52 penalties he took.
