UEFA announced the sanctions imposed on Matteo Guendouzi and Mason Greenwood following the Lyon-Fenerbahçe match. Guendouzi was fined €50,000 and suspended for 4 matches, with 2 of those matches suspended. Greenwood received a €30,000 fine and a 1-match ban with the sentence deferred.

The UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body has announced its decisions regarding the disciplinary process initiated after the match between Olympique Lyon and Fenerbahçe. The penalties for the yellow-navy players Matteo Guendouzi and Mason Greenwood have been determined.

GUENDOUZI RECEIVES A 4-MATCH SUSPENSION

UEFA has imposed a €50,000 fine and a total 4-match suspension on Matteo Guendouzi. The French player will serve 2 matches of the 4-match suspension this season. The remaining 2-match suspension will be subject to a 1-year probation period. In line with this decision, Guendouzi will not be able to play in Fenerbahçe's Champions League matches against Roma and Aston Villa.

GREENWOOD WILL PLAY IN THE ROMA MATCH

Mason Greenwood has been given a €30,000 fine and a 1-match suspended suspension. Since the suspension is deferred, Greenwood will be on the pitch in Fenerbahçe's first Champions League match against Roma.
