The fire that broke out in the grassy area of Uzungürgen village from Sinop caused alarm. The flames spread rapidly, influenced by the wind, unsettling the villagers. Firefighters were dispatched to the scene following a report made by citizens to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Thanks to the timely intervention of the teams, the fire was extinguished before it reached the forest.
THE CAUSE OF THE FIRE WAS SURPRISING
According to the information obtained, the fire started when a bird landed on a high voltage line and fell to the ground after burning. There were no injuries in the fire, but the field in the area was damaged. An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
