In Şırnak, the unusual photo request of the bride and groom candidates surprised onlookers. The engaged couple preferred tunnels carved into 10 meters of snow instead of a photo studio for their pre-wedding photoshoot.
The couple Mercan and Eray Yıldız got engaged in Uzungeçit town, Uludere district of Şırnak. The bride and groom-to-be, who needed to go to a shooting plateau for photos, preferred to shoot in the tunnels opened after an avalanche in the Tanin Pass region, 14 kilometers away from the town.

The relatives of the bride and groom-to-be, who did not leave the couple alone as they chose the snow tunnel stretching for meters, started taking photos in the snowy area. The new couple, who shot for a long time here, said they had been waiting for this moment for months. Wanting to raise awareness, the couple expressed that they wanted to be the first couple in Turkey to shoot outdoors in a snow tunnel. The groom-to-be Eray Yıldız said, "For the first time in Turkey, such an outdoor shoot is being done. We had been waiting for this day for months; we wanted to shoot in a snow tunnel, and it is a different and beautiful feeling."
