A passenger bus belonging to the AS Adana company, traveling from Samsun to Adana, caught fire in the engine compartment while on the Damlama location of the highway. The passengers were evacuated at the last moment, and the fire department extinguished the fire. The cause is reported to be frequent malfunctions.

When the teams extinguished the fire, only a pile of metal remained from the bus. The vehicle became unusable, but fortunately, there were no injuries. Passengers claimed that the bus had been constantly breaking down since it left Samsun.
