The incident that took place in İzmir Karşıyaka shocked those who heard about it. Vildan Güneş, a mother of two, claimed that she was subjected to spells and death threats from Özer Çalışkan's first wife, Gülcan V., and reported it to the prosecutor's office.

48-year-old Vildan Güneş alleged that Gülcan V., the first wife of businessman Özer Çalışkan, subjected her to psychological violence and threatened her life while raising her two daughters from her marriage to Çalışkan. Güneş, who stated that the threats from Çalışkan's first wife, who operates a taxi company in Germany, made her anxious, said, "I don't want to die, I am afraid of this woman," and asked for help.

Vildan Güneş filed a criminal complaint with the Public Prosecutor's Office, along with evidence that Gülcan V. had cast a spell on her and threatened her with death. Güneş claimed that the first wife was carrying out these threats due to the inheritance share of their children, stating:

"Özer's financial situation is quite good. He has a fortune worth millions of euros. His first wife cannot digest the fact that my children will receive a large share of the inheritance. Therefore, she is putting all kinds of psychological pressure on me and making death threats."

In a statement to Yeni Asır, Vildan Güneş expressed that if any harm comes to her or her daughters, Gülcan V. would be responsible. Güneş said, "I have experienced everything from spells to open threats. This woman wants to harm me and my children."
