The cabinet is convening after a one-month break! The main agenda is tomorrow's announcement of inflation figures.

The Presidential Cabinet will meet today with a busy agenda after a break of about a month. President Erdogan will preside over the meeting at Beştepe.

ECONOMY HEADLINES ON THE AGENDA

The main agenda of the meeting is expected to be the economy. The salary increase for civil servants in the second half of the year will be determined along with the inflation rate for the month of June, which will be announced on July 3rd. The salary increase rate for approximately 16 million civil servants, SSI and Bağ-Kur retirees will also be clarified.

TAX DRAFT AND FIGHT AGAINST INFLATION ON THE TABLE

Savings measures and the increase in the minimum pension will also be discussed at the meeting. Cabinet members will also be informed about the new tax draft and the fight against inflation. Another important topic for the Cabinet will be counter-terrorism operations.

CEASEFIRE STEPS WILL ALSO BE DISCUSSED

The current situation regarding the 9th Judicial Package is expected to be discussed at the meeting. Regional developments, Israel's attacks on Gaza, and steps towards achieving a ceasefire will also be on the agenda.

INTENSE DIPLOMATIC TRAFFIC IN JULY

President Erdogan will visit Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, and the United States in July. The relevant ministers will also present their work on the possible agenda items to be discussed during these meetings.

KURUM AND MEMİŞOĞLU WILL ALSO ATTEND THE MEETING

Murat Kurum, who was appointed as the Minister of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change with the signature of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and Prof. Dr. Kemal Memişoğlu, who was appointed as the Minister of Health, will also attend the cabinet meeting.
