The car that crashed into the tree resulted in the death of three members of the same family.

Three members of the same family lost their lives in a traffic accident in the Kumluca district of Antalya. The only child of the family who survived the accident is still undergoing treatment.

CRASHED INTO THE MEDIAN AND DRAGGED FOR METERS

In an incident that occurred around 16:00 on the D400 highway between Finike and Kumluca, the car driven by Tayfur Koç (33) from Finike to Kumluca direction lost control of the steering and crashed into the median, dragging for about 100 meters.

CAME TO A STOP BY HITTING A TREE

The car managed to come to a stop by hitting a tree on the median. Tayfur Koç and Hatice Koç (34) lost their lives at the scene.

During the accident, 3-year-old Zehra Koç, who was sitting in the front seat on her mother's lap, and her brother Zişan Koç (8) in the back seat survived the accident with injuries.

3-YEAR-OLD CHILDREN ALSO LOST THEIR LIVES IN THE HOSPITAL

The little girl and her brother were taken to the hospital by 122 Emergency Health teams after their initial treatment at the scene. Zehra Koç, who was transported to a private hospital by ambulance, lost her life. Zişan Koç, who survived the accident, is still undergoing treatment at the hospital.
