The Central Bank kept the interest rate steady at 50%.

The Central Bank kept the policy interest rate unchanged at 50%, in line with expectations. Thus, the policy interest rate has been held steady for the sixth consecutive month. The policy interest rate was raised from 45% to 50% during the Monetary Policy Committee meeting in March.

The interest rate decision of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT), which has drawn the attention of the markets, has been announced.

The Central Bank kept the policy rate stable at 50%, in line with market expectations.

Thus, the policy rate has been maintained at the same level for the sixth consecutive month.
