The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey announced that its total reserves decreased by 624 million dollars in the week of November 15 compared to the previous week. While gross foreign exchange reserves increased, gold reserves showed a significant decline.

The total reserves of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) decreased by 624 million dollars to 156 billion 684 million dollars in the week of November 15 compared to the previous week.

CBRT announced the weekly money and bank statistics. Accordingly, as of November 15, the Central Bank's gross foreign exchange reserves increased by 1 billion 969 million dollars to 94 billion 90 million dollars. Gross foreign exchange reserves were at the level of 92 billion 121 million dollars on November 8.

GOLD RESERVES DECREASED

During this period, gold reserves decreased by 2 billion 593 million dollars from 65 billion 187 million dollars to 62 billion 594 million dollars. Thus, the total reserves of the Central Bank decreased from 157 billion 308 million dollars to 156 billion 684 million dollars in the week of November 15, a decrease of 624 million dollars compared to the previous week.
