CHAOS DURING THE MARCH
Following the Ankara Regional Administrative Court's ruling of "absolute nullity" regarding the CHP congress, Özgür Özel and his supporters left the CHP headquarters and started marching towards the TBMM.
During the march held under heavy rain, tension escalated due to police barricades, and multiple scuffles occurred between the crowd and security forces.
Addressing the crowd in front of the TBMM, Özel reacted to the ruling and emphasized that they would continue their struggle in the parliament and in the squares.
PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE LAUNCHES INVESTIGATION
Following the incidents, the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office launched a comprehensive investigation into the scuffles that occurred during the march. It was stated that the grounds for the investigation were violation of the assembly and demonstration march law, resisting a public officer, and intentional injury.
