A person in Ankara fired a shotgun at children because he was making loud noises. As a result of the gunfire from the shotgun, 14-year-old Hiranur Şimşek was seriously injured. While the girl's life remains in danger, the attacker has been taken into custody.
A 14-year-old girl who was shot by her neighbor along with her friends for making loud noises in the apartment garden in Ankara is still in critical condition.
A chilling incident occurred in Ankara. It took place last night in a site located in the Fatih neighborhood of the Sincan district. According to reports, 60-year-old Hasan P. reacted to the children making noise in front of the apartment where he resides.

Angered by the children who ignored his warnings, Hasan P. randomly fired at them with a shotgun from his balcony. A few of the pellets hit 14-year-old Hiranur Şimşek.

After the surrounding people reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Şimşek, who was determined to be seriously injured, was taken to Sincan State Hospital by ambulance after the first intervention. Following the interventions there, Şimşek was transferred to Etlik City Hospital, where she was intubated in the intensive care unit. It was learned that Şimşek's health condition remains serious, while the neighbor who carried out the attack was caught and detained along with the weapon used in the crime. It was reported that the attacker, who has a criminal record, is still undergoing procedures at the police station.
"THE PELLETS HIT HER HEART AND LUNG"
Speaking about the incident, father Recep Şimşek said, "My daughter was sitting on a bench with her friends inside the site. One of the neighbors reacted because they were making noise. He fired a gun from his balcony. My daughter was hit by the pellets because she stood up at that moment. She is currently in critical condition.
The pellets hit her heart and lung. She is still experiencing internal bleeding. I haven't been able to see my daughter for a long time. We could only see each other in recent years. There are no words to describe this pain. It is something that cannot be expressed in words. I feel like a part of my soul has been torn away. My child is in this condition for a ridiculous reason. I am patiently waiting for the day my daughter will recover," he said.

Father Şimşek, who believes that the attacker will receive the heaviest punishment, said, "People need to be sensitive about certain issues. They should not forget that they also have children. How adults behave is how that child will behave when they grow up. A daughter is a father's wing. They have broken my wing. Authorities should prosecute this attacker with the heaviest penalty, ensuring he never gets out again. I do not know the attacker. I have no connection to him.
I learned that my child was shot from the hospital police. Until I arrived here from outside the city, I felt as if I had died. They should quarantine such people if necessary. My child may never see the light of day again. May the one who brought her to this state never see the light of day either. I can't even find the words to speak. I learned that the person who committed the act has a criminal record. They should keep such people in a separate place," he expressed.
