The claim from Özgür Özel: "Instructions were given to MIT regarding Mansur Yavaş."

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel attended a commemoration program for broadcaster İlhan Erdost. After the program, Özel answered questions from journalists and made a claim that would be on the agenda.

CHP leader Özel stated that he learned that instructions were sent to the National Intelligence Organization (MİT) regarding Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş.

Özel mentioned that issues that previously did not require investigation are being revisited, saying, "They are trying to find a connection by giving instructions to MİT."

ÖZEL'S CLAIM ABOUT MİT

Özgür Özel continued his speech as follows:

"Our stance and attitude regarding the Esenyurt issue is the same regardless of which party or municipality it is. It is wrong to appoint a trustee on the day the investigation begins. I am closely following the events. Recently, Melih Gökçek's troll armies were unleashed against Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş. They are trying to uncover investigations that previously did not even require investigation. They are trying to find a connection by giving instructions to MİT and digging deeper."

ÖZEL'S LETTER TO İBRAHİM KALIN

I had written a letter to MİT President İbrahim Kalın regarding a presentation he made. I asked Kalın why he went to the AK Party Headquarters to make a presentation. I questioned what concerns us that only relates to the AK Party. Kalın said he received the letter and responded.

I want to say that I heard someone from the Palace told MİT, 'Investigate something, find something, and involve the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality in these matters.' I want MİT President Kalın to inform us."
