It was stated, "No Afghan citizen, whether civilian or military, who has acquired Turkish citizenship is serving in the ranks of the military health system within the TSK."

CONTROVERSIAL CLAIM

Ministry sources stated in response to the allegations that a doctor of Afghan origin is serving in the TAF, "No Afghan citizen, whether civilian or military, who has acquired Turkish citizenship, is serving in the ranks of the military health system of the TAF."
