In the statement, it was expressed that the news reported by some media outlets does not reflect the truth. It was stated, "No Afghan citizen, whether civilian or military, who has acquired Turkish citizenship is serving in the ranks of the military health system within the TSK."

The claim that a doctor of Afghan origin is serving in the Turkish Armed Forces has caused a wide public reaction. Today, sources from the Ministry of National Defense made a statement regarding this issue while evaluating the agenda.

CONTROVERSIAL CLAIM

Ministry sources stated in response to the allegations that a doctor of Afghan origin is serving in the TAF, "No Afghan citizen, whether civilian or military, who has acquired Turkish citizenship, is serving in the ranks of the military health system of the TAF."
