New information has emerged in the investigation regarding the injury of three police officers as a result of gunfire directed at a police team responding to a report of an armed conflict in the Seferihisar district of İzmir. It has been stated that the cause of the incident was a friendship that began between two groups, Pamirler and Çelikler, which turned into a feud due to the spread of pornographic images.

Details have begun to emerge regarding the incident in Seferihisar, İzmir, where three police officers, two of whom are in serious condition, were injured as a result of gunfire directed at civilian police officers responding to a report of an armed conflict last night.

THE REASON FOR THE FEUD IS PORNOGRAPHIC IMAGES

It has been reported that a friendship that began between two groups, the Pamirler and Çelikler, turned into a feud. The feud reportedly started after pornographic images belonging to a member of the Pamirler group were spread, following rumors that a member of the Çelikler group was the one who disseminated these images.

POLICE ESCAPED LIFE-THREATENING SITUATION

Following a report that a suspicious individual was carrying a weapon, police teams who arrived at the scene searched Sedat Ç. During this time, Sedat Ç.'s brother, Mehmet Salih Ç., allegedly pulled out his unlicensed firearm and opened fire on the civilian police officers conducting the search. It was noted that among the suspects captured by the police after the incident, 8 were members of the Pamirler group and 6 were members of the Çelikler group.

TREATMENT OF 3 POLICE OFFICERS CONTINUES

Meanwhile, the treatment of the three police officers injured in the incident is ongoing at the hospital. It has been reported that the condition of the injured officers is improving and they have escaped life-threatening situations.
