ARREST OF DEM PARTY CHAIRS IN ESENYURT

The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office Terror Crimes Investigation Bureau is continuing its investigation regarding the so-called memorial event held at the DEM Party's building in Esenyurt for PKK terrorist Gülşen Atalmış, who was neutralized in 1995. In this context, the procedures of DEM Party Esenyurt district managers Abdullah Arınan and Rojda Yılmaz, who were taken into custody, have been completed.

BOTH WERE ARRESTED

After health checks, the suspects were sent to the courthouse. Following their procedures at the prosecutor's office, Arınan and Yılmaz were referred to the duty magistrate with a request for their arrest on charges of "being a member of an armed terrorist organization" and "making propaganda for a terrorist organization." The magistrate decided to arrest Arınan and Yılmaz for the charges against them.
