Important documents have emerged regarding the murder of Narin Güran, which Turkey is closely following. It has been learned that in the face-to-face interview record taken by the gendarmerie on August 21, Narin's father, Arif Güran, named the individuals he suspected one by one. According to a report by Ferit Demir from Halk TV, Arif Güran stated the following in his testimony during the face-to-face interview:

"I DID NOT LIKE THE ACTIONS OF SÜHEYLA ÖZKAN, ÖMER GÜRAN, AND İBRAHİM GÜRAN"

"On the morning of the first day, my stepmother Süheyla ÖZKAN came to my house, and I learned that she did not come to my house again after the first day of the incident. Despite the fact that the girl was missing for 2-3 days, I noticed that this person was cleaning, washing, and carrying straw bags in front of their house, and was acting in a relaxed manner. I understood that she was speaking with an air of innocence. While I was at home, I started to observe the behavior and attitudes of people. I did not like the attitudes and actions of Süheyla ÖZKAN and her children, Ömer GÜRAN, and İbrahim GÜRAN; they seemed very relaxed.

I also told this to the gendarmerie commander on duty there. During this time, I learned that a person named Ömer, who worked with a person named Barış GÜRAN, disappeared from the village after the incident. Regarding the distribution of wedding invitations, I learned that my brother Barış GÜRAN went to the Derik side to distribute invitations, and I do not know how and with whom his son Hüseyin GÜRAN went on August 21, 2024, the day Narin went missing, but I learned that he went to the Mardin/Derik district. I do not know why he did not go with his father, but I learned that upon his return, Hüseyin GÜRAN called his father and said, 'Come and pick me up from Derik and take me to Diyarbakır,' but I do not know how and with whom he went.

"My nephew Uğur GÜRAN told me about these matters on August 28, 2024. I got angry with him and asked why he had not told me until now. He said he did not know. Because of this situation, I suspect my brother Baran GÜRAN, who went to the Derik side to distribute invitations, and I suspect his son Hüseyin GÜRAN. I want Uğur GÜRAN's statement to be taken."

"GÜRAN called me, saying that he and the villagers are trying to send us to unrelated villages around the village. During the search, I learned that Barış was shouting and making meaningless statements for no reason, and Ömer GÜRAN was talking to a person named Necmettin DURAN's son on the distant outskirts of the village, and that he learned that they were thrown under their house, and I got angry with him again because of these actions. I separated from the gendarmerie team on duty; they are constantly distracting the target during the search, and I suspect them."

"God bless, GÜRAN said that our daughter, who is supposedly his daughter, Birsen Güran, saw her at 17:00, and he says he knocked on their door, but the camera time does not match this hour. Also, why would my daughter go from the bottom of the village instead of in front of the school? Why would she use a path she has never used? The camera footage shows she did not come to the school; there is also a camera behind the school. I want my wife's statement to be taken regarding this matter; I suspect they are trying to confuse us and the gendarmerie, and I do not believe his claim. My daughter will definitely be seen at that time near the school. My stepmother Süheyla ÖZKAN said she was filling straw until 17:00 and 18:00. She says no one passed by here. The best evidence is the camera. My daughter would never take the wrong path. I no longer trust anyone; from now on, I will report everyone I am suspicious of."
