According to reports in the Israeli press, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has started investigating allegations that Israeli Arabs were also involved in the incident.

In a gunfight that broke out between two groups of 40 people who gathered in a coffeehouse in Üsküdar to make peace, 3 people lost their lives and many others were injured. GOVERNORSHIP MADE A STATEMENT

In a statement made by the Istanbul Governorship; "On 23.05.2024 Thursday, at around 20:10, a dispute between two groups in a cafe located on Ayazma Street in Ünalan Neighborhood of Üsküdar district turned into an armed conflict. 3 people lost their lives in the incident, and a total of 5 people, including 2 seriously injured, were injured. The injured were taken to nearby hospitals and are being treated, and the investigation regarding the incident is ongoing," it was stated.

2 PEOPLE IN CUSTODY

The Homicide Bureau of the Security Branch Directorate, which initiated an investigation into the incident, detained Fikret Ö. and Canpaşa Y., who were determined to have used firearms in the incident. A comprehensive investigation into the incident is ongoing.
