A pregnant 'Simmental' cow that escaped from a farm in Manisa and was sought after everywhere by both its old and new owners was captured in Denizli after a 42-day tracking effort. Sadettin Gençeli, an animal breeder living in the Dindarlı neighborhood of Sarıgöl district in Manisa, sold a pregnant Simmental cow to another animal breeder in Dadağlı neighborhood at the beginning of October. After the sale, the cow that escaped from the farm in Dadağlı lived in the mountains for days. In the searches conducted by both the old and new owners tracking the cow, the runaway cow, which managed to escape several times, was captured in the evening hours in Denizli province after 42 days. After the capture, Sadettin Gençeli, who sold the cow, thought that the animal had escaped because it had weakened after 42 days and might have been disoriented, so he returned the deposit he had taken for the cow and took it back to his own farm. "LIVED IN THE MOUNTAINS FOR 12 DAYS"Gençeli, who explained that they were able to catch the cow after days of continuous tracking, said, "It had been on the run for 42 days. It was living in the mountains. It had gone near a house in the Körtepeler area of Hasanbeyler neighborhood in Denizli. We caught it there with 50-60 people. Our cow was very wild, so no one could approach it out of fear in the evening. I approached alone and caught it. With the help of my friends, we tied its legs with 5-6 ropes, covered its eyes, and injected it with a tranquilizer. Thus, we brought it back to our barn. I had sold the cow, but I was sad to see that our animal had weakened, so I will not return it. He had given a deposit of 29 thousand TL, and I will refund his money. I thank everyone who helped."
