The price of gold per gram started the day with a decline, trading at 2,919 Turkish lira. The gram gold, which reached 2,928 lira with a 1.1% increase in the previous day, continues to fluctuate due to geopolitical risks and inflation expectations.

The gram price of gold is at the level of 2,919 lira with a decrease of 0.3 percent as of 10:00 AM, after starting the new day with a decline. At the same time, the quarter gold is being sold for 5,000 lira, and the Republic gold for 19,900 lira.

After the increase in geopolitical risks, the price of gold per ounce gained 1.1 percent yesterday, while it is currently trading at 2,653 dollars, which is 0.4 percent below the previous closing.

THE TURMOIL IN THE MIDDLE EAST IS CHANGING THE BALANCES

The situation of conflicts in the Middle East and the uncertainties regarding whether the global fight against inflation will result in a recession are complicating asset pricing. Yesterday, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps announced that it had launched a ballistic missile attack on Israel. Following threats of retaliation from Israel and statements from Iran that a more severe response would be given in case of retaliation, tensions in the region continue to remain high.
