The detained co-chair of the Kayapınar Municipality from the DEM Party has been released.

It has been reported that Cengiz Dündar, the Co-Chair of Kayapınar Municipality, who was detained along with 9 others on November 26 and arrested on November 30, has been released.

The development regarding Dündar, who has been in Sincan Prison since November 30, was announced on the social media account of Kayapınar Municipality in Diyarbakır. The statement said, "Our Co-Chair Cengiz Dündar has been released from Sincan Prison where he was held."

WHAT HAPPENED?

The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, in a statement regarding Dündar's arrest, announced that "14 out of 15 suspects related to the PKK/KCK terrorist organization have been captured and detained; 9 suspects have been arrested, 4 have been placed under judicial control due to existing evidence, 1 due to health reasons, and a warrant has been issued for 1 suspect."
