In the Akçakale district of Şanlıurfa, the Director of the Public Education Center committed suicide in his office with his service pistol.

The Akçakale District Public Education Center in Şanlıurfa witnessed horrifying moments today. The center's director, Mustafa Gürbüz, committed suicide in his office. It was learned that Gürbüz could not be saved after being taken to the hospital.

An INVESTIGATION HAS BEEN INITIATED

    The incident occurred around 1:30 PM in the Akçakale district of Şanlıurfa. According to allegations, District Public Education Director Mustafa Gündüz shot himself with his service pistol in his office. Upon hearing the gunshot, the institution's employees entered the room and found Director Gündüz in a pool of blood. Gündüz was taken to Akçakale State Hospital but could not be saved despite all interventions. An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
